WHAT WILL MY PRE-TEEN DO DURING CLASS?

CLASS IS VERY SIMILAR TO MY ADULT SMALL GROUP TRAINING PROGRAM, BUT IS ADJUSTED IN INTENSITY LEVEL.  IT WILL INCLUDE FUN AND ENGAGING MOVEMENTS THAT WILL BE DOABLE, YET CHALLENGING.  THEY WILL ALWAYS START WITH A COMPLETE WARM UP AND WILL WORK ON CARDIO DRILLS, BODY WEIGHT OR RESISTANCE EXERCISES, FLOOR WORK FOR THE CORE, AND MOVEMENTS THAT WILL HELP WITH STRENGTH, FLEXIBILITY, BALANCE, AND AGILITY.  ALL CLASSES WILL END WITH A COMPLETE COOL DOWN, INCLUDING STATIC AND YOGA-LIKE STRETCHES.

WILL YOU BE YELLING AT MY PRE-TEEN?

ABSOLUTELY NOT.  I WILL NEVER YELL OR INTENTIONALLY HURT, EMBARRASS, OR BELITTLE YOUR PRE-TEEN.  THE ENVIRONMENT THAT I LIKE TO CREATE IS ACTUALLY QUITE THE OPPOSITE.  MY GOAL IS TO MOTIVATE, ENCOURAGE, EMPOWER, AND SUPPORT YOUR PRE-TEEN.  I WANT THEM TO KNOW THEY ARE STRONGER THAN THEY THINK THEY ARE BOTH PHYSICALLY AND MENTALLY!

WHAT WILL MY PRE-TEEN NEED TO BRING TO CLASS?

ON HER FIRST CLASS, SHE WILL NEED TO BRING HER SIGNED WAIVER (BY PARENT OR GUARDIAN) AND HER PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT (THESE WILL BE EMAILED TO YOU AFTER REGISTRATION).  EACH DAY, SHE SHOULD WEAR COMFORTABLE WORKOUT ATTIRE AND A GOOD PAIR OF SNEAKERS/RUNNING SHOES AND BRING A BOTTLE OF WATER TO STAY HYDRATED.  ALL EQUIPMENT IS PROVIDED.
